I was pleased to be asked to present at the November 2024 AAUW – Brevard meeting.
We discussed the origins of negative aging narratives, shedding light on the societal factors that contribute to this pessimism and examining its implications. We also highlighted the broader benefits of embracing a constructive aging narrative, with its positive impact on both individuals and within communities.
